Multifamily B&B and Retreat Center in Paradisiacal Gardens, Vilcabamba

Welcome to your very own hotel in a hidden garden – Le Rendez-Vous! Conveniently located just three blocks from the center of Vilcabamba is this beautiful hotel! It offers a great venue for tourists, both local and foreign, visiting the area. Hosting wellness retreats or renting out rooms on a long-term basis are other great ventures for this property since Vilcabamba is a wellness destination and there is often a need for long-term rentals in town. OR, you could simply make this your private residence or a family compound.

This property has eight guest rooms that were designed in harmony with nature. Each room has its own private bath, closet, and a patio area. These guest rooms are dispersed in three separate cottages on the property. Additionally, there is a smaller room with a private bathroom and bathtub that is currently used as a caretaker residence. 

Along with the guest cottages, there is a reception building which houses the kitchen, a sitting room, library, storage room, a public bathroom, and a tool storage room. There were plans to add on another level to this building and by doing so, you could have another couple of guest rooms or have a larger common area.  

There is also a cozy, private, and comfortable owner’s residence with two large bedrooms, two full bathrooms (one with a bathtub), a full kitchen, a bar area, living room with a fireplace, and lovely private patio area with a hammock and views of the garden! This house has a separate walk-through entrance from the road, adding to its privacy. 

As you meander about the property you will find a pavilion among the lovely tropical gardens where birds and butterflies love to reside. There is also a mature avocado tree that bears about 200 avocados per year. Just envision yourself harvesting and enjoying your very own avocados! What a treat! 

The buildings were built with a combination of brick and adobe materials which naturally regulate the temperatures making the rooms fresh and cool during the day, and at night they warm up just a bit. The property size is 1685 square meters (0.42 acres). There is space on the land to build more structures or put in a pool. 

This location is great as it is walking distance to not only the center of Vilcabamba, but also a wide selection of restaurants, plenty of stores, the river and walking trails, taxis stands, and the bus terminal.
